In My Defence, Your Honour!
To start with this isn't a bible of training knowledge, as is it not a fully comprehensive training program. Its a few hints and tips to get you started, set you off on your journey as it were. Training is rather a new concept in rock climbing, well for those of us who aren't mutants, and don't want to climb 8c. However training can benefit everyone in many different ways. If it is just to improve yourself as a climber, making the day more enjoyable. If you want to crack a crux move on an elusive boulder problem. Or even if you want to become a mutant, that pulls the holds off the wall. This can all be achieved with a little work and perseverance.
Training is also accused of being boring, monotonous, and in many cases a waste of time. This is all a big pile of pants, training can be fun, interesting and extremely beneficial, it just has to be done correctly. HOW??? You may ask. We'll we will try and let you in on the odd secret as time goes by.
